This option allows you to select all aspects of the service to meet your wishes, be it traditional, contemporary, green burial or simple.

Arranging and Conducting a Funeral (£935)

  • Completing all the required arrangements for a cremation or burial

  • Submitting all necessary documentation including statutory forms

  • Liasing with doctors, hospitals, newspapers, florists, ministers and other necessary authorities

  • Paying disbursements on behalf of the client

  • Provision of a funeral director and necessary staff (up to 4 bearers) to carry out the funeral in accordance with client wishes

  • Collection and administration of charitable donations

  • Collection and care of cremated remains as required

Transfer during working hours (£265)

  • Collection of the deceased and transportation to our chapel of rest, within office hours, within a 25 mile radius. Out of office hours or further mileage incurs additional charges.

Care of the Deceased until the day of the funeral (£265)

  • Use of our chapel of rest until the day of the funeral

  • Preparation of the deceased and dressing as instructed by the client (we will discuss embalming with you if appropriate – additional cost of £140)

  • Viewing, if desired £25

Choice of coffin suitable for burial or cremation, our traditional oak veneered coffin (£580). We have many choices starting from £275

Hearse and personnel to local church, crematorium or cemetery (£450)

Disbursements are fees and statutory charges which are paid by us on your behalf and can include cremation fees, burial fees, ministers fees, newspaper announcements, grave digging etc. These charges are outside of our control and vary but exact costs will be given in the form of a written estimate at the time of making the arrangements.
